Solidarität mit Besetzer_innen an der Universität Belgrad
Bereits seit Mitte Oktober blockieren Aktivist_innen an der Universität in Belgrad diverse Fakultäten, um sich gegen Studiengebühren zur Wehr zu setzen. Da sie sich vermehrter Repression seitens der Uni-Leitung, des Staates und faschistischer Strukturen vor Ort ausgesetzt fühlten, riefen sie Aktive weltweit dazu auf sie zu unterstützen.
Inzwischen hat die Uni-Leitung privates “Sicherheitspersonal” eingestellt, um die “Störenfriede” zu beseitigen. Doch die Aktiven halten die Stellung und somit dauert die Besetzung bis heute an.
Das Free Education Movement Marburg und der AStA Marburg unterstützen die Aktiven und haben folgende Solidaritätserklärung an diese versendet:
Dear fellow activists at Belgrade University,
we, the student representative body at the University of Marburg and activists at theFree Education Movement Marburg, want to express our full support and solidarity with your actions against the increasing commercialisation of education.
To us the commercialisation of education is a symptom of the currently dominating economic system. Since this economic system unleashes its forces globally, we hope to also unite with you in our struggle for free emancipatory education for the “Global Weeks of Action for Education” (Nov. 7-20th), which is currently being coordinated on the International Student Movement platform. We already decided to take to the streets at night on November 17th.United against fascists, state repression and for free emancipatory education for all across all borders!★ one world – one struggle ★
